Silver Ghost is a small, family-run Weimaraner programme in the English countryside. For over a decade we have devoted ourselves to raising sound, beautifully tempered dogs — the kind of Weimaraner we love to live with ourselves.
Raised, not reared.
Our puppies are not raised in a kennel. They are raised in the middle of everything — the kitchen, the boot room, the fireside — where children come and go, where the door opens onto the garden, where the kettle is always on.
This is deliberate. A puppy who has known the ordinary music of family life from the very beginning grows into a dog who belongs, immediately, in yours.
We follow the Puppy Culture socialisation framework, layered with our own quiet routines built over many litters and many years.

Silver Ghost began, as most beautiful things do, with a single dog. What started as a private love has grown into a small, considered breeding programme — carried out at kitchen tables and in muddy boots, always at home.

Transparency, patience and long-term relationships. We would rather turn a family away than compromise on the fit — and we would rather delay a litter than rush a decision.

Small numbers, generous rest between litters, full health testing, and homes vetted with care. We are Kennel Club Assured Breeders and we hold ourselves to a higher standard still.
